Harvesting the algae is easy; simply remove a portion to eliminate contaminants and promote further growth.

When to Run Your Scrubber

To maintain optimal water quality, many hobbyists run their algae scrubbers on a reverse daylight schedule. This approach helps stabilize pH levels in the aquarium, achieved by programming the LED lights to operate opposite the lighting of the display tank.

How to Harvest Algae
